A COLLECTION OF OUR WORKS

Design's that Sebastian has prototyped and developed specifically with production in mind. Designs that allow the client to customise and tailor to their own interior design requirements. All these designs will only be produced in limited numbers and are numbered and catalogued prior to leaving the workshop.

The AntÌlope (ANTELOPE) Dining Chair

The design of the Antilope came to the designer Sebastian Blakeley as a 'two dimensional' image, a simple linear form, similar to stylized animals in early cave paintings.

The Cafè Table

Designed on a component build concept this table emulates the materials and aluminium components of Sebastian’s chairs. The aluminium legs can be easily disassembled and can be polished and/or powder coated in many different options. The Aluminium legs also allow for a central umbrella stand to be held in position for outside cafè use.

Mántide (MANTIS) Dining Chair

Possibly Sebastian’s most loved design to date.

This chair catches the dynamic of the Praying Mantis. Powerful legs ready to leap, the long antennae of the rear legs. The simple linear form, beautiful craftsmanship and studied ergonomics make this chair a firm favourite.

TORO (BULL) DINING CHAIR

Like the Antilope this design was inspired by the simple, stylised, linear forms in early cave paintings. Capturing the dynamic of the powerful wild Bull the sweeping aluminium legs symbolising the horns and “pawing” front legs juxtaposed with the strong triangular head in finely crafted and tactile timber.

Pegasus Dining Chair

This chair is an evolution on the Toro chair. Clients were requesting a carver design for the head of table placement. After experimenting with the Antilope, Toro and Mantide chairs the Toro proved the easiest to adapt. The laminated and formed extension of the leg structure into an armrest is probably inspired by mid-century designs. This evolution very much changing the dynamic of the chair. We felt it should be renamed after the mythical winged horse Pegasus.
