However it does include the resting of the legs which is the take we are looking at with this model. The Chaise longue has long been associated with wealth, opulence, prestige and culture just in the pure fact that there is enough time to sit long enough with ones feet up!! Obviously enabled by stability and time due to one's wealth. Throughout history the association has always been related back to the Egyptians, Greeks or Romans, all of whom understood leisure, pleasure, culture and an expertise in "lounging."
